Today, 13 Jan. the Forestry Dpt. published a ban for hiking on 15 trails around Troodos. Until further notice. Among them is the section between Madari Watchtower and Doxa si o Theos. In consequence this Saturday we are hiking at Pipis: at a low altitude, in a quite dense pine forest, offering superb views.
