The hike along the coast of Governor’s on 17 December turned into a vivid exchange of participants’ impressions on the topic of fish; ranging from childhood memories to eating preferences to fish in the movies. The Club celebrated the International Mountain Day (11 Dec.) during today’s activity, which involved a power hike to Lazanias and Fikardou. Over a sumptuous buffet lunch, the theme of this year’s Day, Women Move Mountains was discussed from various angles. It appears that many ingredients worked in perfection on 3 Dec., on the hike to Kourdali; the uncommon territory, off the beaten track, the temperature, the cloudy sky, the wonderful group of Strollers, our adaptation to the degree of difficulty of the trail, and the meal. The Club’s 250^th hike took place at the gorgeous Cape Aspro in Pissouri. A coastal excursion, thus different than usual, which left all participants delighted. This unique hike is dedicated to our Club’s leader, Xenophon, going through a difficult moment for which he couldn’t participate.
