Nicosia Within the Walls had a feast day on Good Friday 3 May; over the entire afternoon, throngs of people standing patiently in line, in all churches, to receive the blessing of Epitaphios. Reviving an old custom, we venerated the Epitaphios in 9 churches: Chrysaliniotissa, Agios Kassianos, Agios Varnavas (Cathedral), Agios Philoumenos, Agios Antonios, Agios Savvas, Trypiotis, Agios Eleftherios and Phaneromeni.
