We did it: we decorated a living tree/bush with Christmas eco-friendly decoration, while hiking at Governor’s coast on 14 December. A large company of Strollers, made of frequent Strollers, not-so-frequent, and newcomers enjoyed the walk, the sea landscape, contributed to decorating, and were rewarded with the seafood lunch. A large, brave gathering of Strollers at Selladi and Pezounokremos on 6 December, defied the rain and derived much joy, as evidenced by a climb up a terrace to a vineyard, and spontaneous singing at the restaurant. In a country struck by continuous heat waves for 4 months over June – September, and a severe drop in rainfall since, it would feel ungrateful to utter a moan about the rain that accompanied our hike at Spilia on 30 Nov.
