Several factors came into play, on the hike at Adelphi forest on 28 Dec., that made the experience unforgettable. This was the 1^st hike in the Club’s 10-year history that was staged on a weekday; the 1^st during the Christmas holiday; turnout was massive; and very youthful, with students and young professionals on the island for a short stay; the weather was bright; there was humour and cheer all around; and lunch was a splendid reward!
