A bright gathering of Strollers hiked the longest trail on Troodos in good spirits on 30 May, heard cuckoos singing and had a wonderful time over lunch. The hike of 17 May, at Platys, was a marvelous experience, viewed on several grounds: for the landscape, in a thick forest along the banks of a river; for the dry weather, under the canopy of the trees; for the lively singing of the birds, a consolation for the failure of the ‘Jalla’ and ‘Ferto’ songs at the Eurovision contest; for the calibre of participants and the joyful conversations. Kryos Potamos had a larger than usual flow on 9 May, and Strollers were assisting one another in crossing it at several points. All participants brought something to this party at Pedoulas, which was moved a day earlier, to avoid a heavy downpour. All in good mood, with positive attitude.
