Under optimal weather conditions – no wind, no rain, sufficient clouds, ambient temperature – a large group of Strollers executed the walk around Larnaca Salt Lake on Sunday 16 December. Once again, the club welcomed new members. The delights included the flamingoes, which some of us saw as close as possible, climbing on the watch tower; fields of sprouting wheat; the renovated 18c. aqueduct; visit to the mosque, whose story dates to the 7c.
